Add a right- or left-side handle to your camera rig or cage that features a NATO rail with this Wooden Side Handle from SmallRig. The aluminum portion of the handle features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads plus a shoe mount on top of the handle to add a light, microphone, monitor, mounting arm, or other accessory.
The handle's NATO clamp attaches to a NATO rail on a rig or cage and has a sliding mechanism that allows you to slide the handle up and down within a range of 1.6" for your preferred position. The smooth wood handle provides a solid, comfortable grip. An included Allen wrench allows you to adjust the handle position quickly and stores inside the handle.

The handle is comfortable and makes for less hand fatigue than holding on to the camera with just a Small Rig cage attached. Easy to attach and adjustable. A black color option might be nice as well, but that's just cosmetic.

I have a Canon M50 so this side handle give me a much better grip to grab more firmly the Canon M50. Also in the upper side I'm able to add external light or external battery.

This is a great addition to your Canon M50 SmallRig cage. However, it only works well on the left-side. The HDMI port, on the right-side hampers it's operation. The right-side of the cage already has a good grip, so by mounting on the Left-side the handle offers more stability. IMPORTANT NOTE: You need the SMALLRIG Universal Low-Profile Quick Release NATO Rail 50mm/2inches Long (BUN2468) , in order to mount it on the rig.

This is a well made handle that has the ability to slide up or down along the SmallRig cage. It fits comfortably in the hand and has a convenient cold shoe on top.

When other people see my camera rig, this handle is the most complimented piece. Its functional and sturdy. I notice my handheld shots are steadier with this handle. I also like the hex wrench that is magnetically attached inside the handle. Its very handy. Honestly, its one my favorite pieces of my camera rig.
