Great compact tool, does not work with M2.5

Thought this would work on the M2.5 screw on my SmallRig cage, as it's the same brand and has a socket for the M2.5 screw on the side, but apparently 2.5 is larger than M2.5. Whoops. Smaller than I thought though and well built, easy to keep in your pocket to make a quick adjustment in the field.

Handy Tool

I love this SmallRig Folding Screwdriver kit. I just ordered 2 more, one for each camera bag. Quality product.

Stop carrying around 20 Allen keys and a screwdriver!

Well built

I've had this for a total of about three days, I have not been able to try it out in the field yet but I can't imagine anything going wrong. It's very well built, it's easy to pull out the tools you want to use but they're also very snug so they don't slide open on their own. It also came in a nice little carrying case that I probably wont use but it was still nice. The flathead screwdriver is super wide which is exactly what I was hoping for, since getting mounting plates off the bottom of my camera was pretty much the primary reason for me getting this tool.

So handy.

It's useful in a lot of situations, but since a lot of companies, SmallRig included, use so many different allen sizes it doesn't fit everything. So more often than not you'll be scrambling to find the right wrench in your giant bag of random-sized wrenches you've likely collected over the years.

Overpriced and useless

I wasn't going to leave a review but when I purchased this a few months ago, the tork bit did not fit the same size on my full size Sirui tripod. Today I swapped head from that tripod to a Really Right Stuff ultra light full size tripod. This tool was unable to loosen the set screws securing the gimbel head from under the plate of the Sirui due to the size of the handle of the tool. On the Really Right Stuff tripod, it did not have the hex size to adjust the leg tension and was unable to install the set screws under the plate to secure the gimbel head once again due to the shortness of the bit and size of handle. I used the hex wrenches that came with the tripods. What is the point of a multibit tool if it doesn't work in many situations. Lastly and this is minor, the tool showed deformation on it's pivot bolts from poor fabrication. If the tool worked this would minor but between poor fabrication and lack of being able to be used, it has made it unlikely I would ever buy a SmallRig product again
