ASUS Flip C434 14" Reviews
Excellent Chromebook
First time Chromebook user, the C434 is beyond my expectations although it is not the latest model. Excellent build quality.
don't get this for Linux or streaming. nice screen, though!
want to avoid Windows? if ChromeOS is enough for you, and you only want to browse basic websites, this machine might be enough for you. trying to avoid becoming another source of data? this won't help, you need to create a Google account just to get it to start up. want to stream video? this is probably not the right machine, it's WAY underpowered. my older tablet does as good a job. I need to close every tab in Chrome before it will stream Discovery+ smoothly, and it will not stream Disney+ without exceeding memory capacity and crashing Chrome. that's without any other tabs or browsers running, nothing at all, in fact - I uninstalled everything to get it to work this well. the warnings about the keyboard are real. I can type without looking, but if you can't you will be miserable trying to use this keyboard. it seems snappy until you actually try to use it to surf the web or stream, then it bogs down so fast you will wonder if you just downloaded a virus. WiFi connectivity is OK, not nearly as stable as a similarly priced Windows machine I bought at the same time. Lunix is not real on this machine - it's only a shell and extremely limited. Android apps are also not real - you don't get access to all of them and those that you do (e.g. Firefox browser) look and function like they do on a phone. overall, this purchase is pretty underwhelming. the battery life is good, though. oh, and the power button is on the left-hand end and the lid is really tough to get open, so I end up pressing all kinds of things (touch screen almost all the way to the edge) as I try to open it, but only when I don't accidentally turn it off while gripping the left (I'm right-handed) end as I try to stabilize it to open it. hoping I can exchange it for another machine I will actually get some use out of.
Love it!
It is awesome just what I needed. Was tired of all the dang windows updates plus my old pc bit the dust lol.

versatile chromebook for students
Purchased this chromebook a week ago for school and tablet use. Extremely versatile chromebook with great features. The back-lit keyboard, flip screen feature to use as a tablet and the device being light are some of the great features. Forgot to mention the sleek and elegant design which def make this machine stand out from the rest.
Excellent Chromebook for the Price
Needed a personal computer. This is the product to get for the quality and price. I don’t regret getting this Chromebook.
Beautiful Chromebook
Great little machine, excellent build quality, responsive.
Light weight. Easy to use
This was a Christmas present for myself! Here it is April and I’m just now starting to play with it! My grandkids told me it was easy to use!
