Designed to connect to virtually any device, the hi-gloss white Audioengine A2+ Wireless Bluetooth Speaker System provide an analog RCA stereo input, 1/8" input, and Bluetooth connectivity with aptX HD for wireless connectivity with your compatible devices. The speakers consist of a 2.75" woofer and a 0.75" tweeter and output up to 15W per channel RMS, or 30W per channel peak.

For your convenience, all connectivity is via the powered left speaker, which connects to the passive right speaker with the included speaker wire. The speakers are magnetically shielded, allowing for placement near your TV or other sensitive devices.

Wireless Connectivity
The A2+ Wireless speakers can connect to nearly any Bluetooth source, so you can wirelessly play your favorite apps like TIDAL, Spotify, Pandora, and more. The Bluetooth receiver built into the A2+ Wireless features aptX HD coding for enhanced quality with compatible devices. aptX HD is also backward-compatible with the SBC and AAC codecs, so you can enjoy audio from nearly any Bluetooth-enabled device. Further, the A2+ Wireless has a Bluetooth range of up to 100' with virtually no degradation in audio quality.
Designed for Enhanced Bass
These speakers feature acoustic and electrical designs to help provide enhanced bass without using digital signal processing or bass boost circuits.
Simple, Quick Setup
There's no network to set up or passwords to create; simply plug in or pair your source device and enjoy.
Engineered for Lower Power Consumption
The cabinets, drivers, bass port designs, amplifiers, and crossovers are all tuned together to help create an efficient system that requires less power than passive speakers and a separate integrated amplifier or similar A/V components.
Designed for Efficiency
With all the electronics built into the left speaker, it's easy to connect your source device of choice. All the circuit boards for the power and preamp sections are vertically mounted for augmented mechanical shock protection.
Driver Design
The A2+ Wireless speakers use ferrofluid-cooled, silk-dome tweeters with neodymium magnets. The tweeters are engineered to hold up well under high power, and the edge-driven design helps provide smooth response. The aramid-fiber woven-glass composite helps the woofers retain their shape when being driven at high levels.
Magnetic Shielding
Both of the A2+ Wireless speakers are magnetically shielded, so you can place them near your display or other sensitive devices.
Additional Features
 • Integrated CSR8670 DAC
 • Output current limiting, thermal over-temperature, and power on/off transient protection
 • RCA and 1/8" inputs provide easy connection to nearly any audio source, including a turntable or TV
 • Variable RCA output for subwoofer connection
 • 0.75" thick MDF cabinets
 • 1/4"-20 threaded brass inserts on the bottom enable attachment to floor stands or wall mounts

Audioengine A2+ Reviews

Small speakers - big sound

Great looking speakers with a pretty good sound. I definitely recommend combining these with a subwoofer to create a bigger sound but I'm impressed. I also appreciate all the different ways to connect, RCA, mini-phono, Bluetooth. I definitely recommend these. I would give them 5 stars if the bass was deeper but I don't think you can expect that from such small boxes. I have a Jamo S808 sub and together they give quite a punch.

Amazing sound with a small footprint!

A friend of mine had the older version of these without the bluetooth; used them for his vinyl turntable. I was impressed with the sound from them then but didn't have the opportunity to play them at louder levels or with tracks that I was deeply familiar with already to really evaluate them. After purchasing these for myself however, I'm completely blown away by the audio quality that they can achieve with such a small footprint. They can get LOUD and the natural audio balance is really nice. Substantial bass -- more than what I expected from these -- but not muddy or overpowering. I have them hardwired to my turntable and they've been fantastic for that but what I was really surprised by was the audio quality over bluetooth that they can achieve. It's really nice to pair them to my computer or phone and completely fill my office with music. There is some continuous baseline audio noise that you can hear if nothing is playing and you are right next to the speakers, however they are currently directly plugged into an outlet on a rather noisy circuit in my house. But ultimately if something is playing you'd never notice it; the signal-to-noise ratio in this case is still really good. All this being said, I absolutely do not regret this purchase in any way. They punch way above their belt in both size and cost. They're small enough that they could potentially be used as computer speakers. But they're big enough to provide enough resonance for deeper sounds. If you want speakers to put on a bookshelf in your office and absolutely fill the room even at only 30% volume with phenomenal fidelity -- get these.

I love the size and power these speakers bring. They sound incredible for their size, and they dont distort at higher levels. Admittedly, they lack in bass, the back tends to get hot with use, and the volume knob is on the back which is a tad disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't want any other speakers. Im sure their A8 sub will compliment them perfectly.

I was startled at the size, but the speakers are great. Instructions for set up could have been better.

I'm very pleased with the Audioengine A2+ speakers. I bought them to use as portable speakers for my laptop computer. I chose the Audioengine A2+ model because I already have their 5+ speakers dedicated to my desktop computer for music and movies and I have experienced them to be of very good sound quality. In addition, they are pleasing to the eye. I would highly recommend Audioengine speakers.

These active speakers are not designed for typical speaker wall mounts. These should work: Adjust the width of the mount with the telescoping base to fit nearly any speaker. Looking to put 2 of these on a shelf on my TV stand. The shelf is 8" high x 4ft wide x 1ft deep. The Audio Engine A2+ at 6" high x 4" wide x 5.25" depth Does BHPHOTO sell a very short speaker stand that I could use to decouple the speaker from the shelf, but still have it fit within the 8" high shelf? ...trying to reduce vibrations going thru the other devices on the tv stand & space is limited. cheers

is there an adapter or a different DAC of some ...

is there an adapter or a different DAC of some kind that will allow me to adjust the volume of the speaker using my tv remote? (tv im using is the LG C2 tv) am trying to avoid having to manually adjust speaker volume, instead setting the speaker at 50% (plenty loud in my space) and control the volume w my tv remote currently using the mux dac ( B&H#MUDADDTSC ) + optical connection to lg c2 tv ( B&H#LGOLED65C2 ). sounds good hardwired but can't control volume w tv remote. chging volume on tv remote doesnt have any impact on audioengine speakers connected by optical connection. turns out i can only control volume w remote when i use audioengine a2+'s bluetooth instead of hardwire connection thru the dac. but in wireless operation i lose some overall audio quality (sounds best thru the hardware mux dac) and i notice the lipsyncing in films is slightly out. tried compensating for the delay w lg c2 menu options but its frustratingly greyed out when in bluetooth connection. says its only able to chg the delay over hdmi, not in bluetooth/wireless. tried "LG Sound Sync: ON" which is supposed to enable remote control of audio connected by optical connection. but doesnt work. volume on speakers still doesnt respond. is there a DAC that can connect the audioengine a2+ to the lg c2 via hdmi instead of optical connection/bluetooth? maybe that would allow the lg c2 remote to control the volume.
