For DMX Systems
Whether you're lighting a live stage or concert event or running DJ lights, Kopul DMX cables will connect all your DMX gear to a DMX controller.
110-Ohm Impedance
The cable is manufactured to the industry-standard 110-Ohm resistance for digital signals. This is ideal for transmitting DMX and other digital data.
Oxygen-Free Copper Cable
The OFC cables provide professional conductivity for reliable signal transfer of your DMX and other digital data signals, even with long cable runs.
Interference Rejection
Braided tinned copper shielding with 92% coverage provides protection against EM and RF interference. A PVC shield and PE insulation deliver additional protection against EM and RF interference and ensure that noise won't compromise your signal.
Strain Relief
Chuck-style strain relief keeps these durable cables secure at the critical point where the cable meets the connector.
Flexible
A durable PVC jacket offers protection for the cable while maintaining flexibility.

Kopul Studio Series Reviews

decent enough

A well made imported DMX cable. It is a four conductor plus braid cable, meaning that all five pins are separately electrically connected. This will work for RDM (remote device management) purposes for lights that have that feature. The connector itself is an imitation of a Neutrik XX series connector. Neutrik color coding rings fit without any need to unsolder the connections. Four stars because of the non-Neutrik brand of connectors used, but it is functionally five stars.

My cables have a resistor soldered between pins 2 and 3 on the male connector. I have not seen this with any other DMX cable before. Is there a reason for this?
Asked by: Tyler
I contacted the manufacturer concerning your inquiry. According to Kopul, they do not indicate a specific reason for the resistor, but they state from testing made with the cable, there is no effect to the cable's performance.
