We were desperately trying to find Belden 4694R connectors and no one had them. We were told by another vendor that these connectors would work and they did. Since we're using the 4694 cable for HD only, we'll be okay. If we upgrade to 4K, they'll probably work too because our cable lengths aren't over 150 feet. Quality connectors and extremely easy to put on cable with the Belden tools.

Will the Platinum Tools SealSmart PROCON Compression Tool work with this connector?
I bought the Platinum Tools SealSmart thinking it would be compatible and it seems not to be; I've ruined two connectors so far trying to make it work. The split ring that holds the cable-end of the connector steady is quite narrow and it doesn't hold the connector securely, it just buckles under the compression pressure.

Can I use the Belden BL-1694ABHD1 connector with the Belden 1694F (Flexible)HD/SDI Cable?
Beldin actually recommends using the 1694ABHD3 connector instead, BH #BE1694ABH3. They suggest this because of the stranded center conductor. The 1694ABHD1 is more difficult to terminate on a stranded center conductor cable

Does this Belden 1694A RG6 connector work with PCT international TRS SERIES RG 6-59 PCT-RH-CT compression tool?
I think it does but double checking...
We are not familiar with that tool, however we do know that this connector will work wit the Platinum Tools 16220C SealSmart II Compression Crimp Tool, B&H # PL16220C.
