I'm just getting into sim racing and wanted a more 'real feel' experience. The Next Level Racing F-GT is just an amazing cockpit. I love the fact you can switch between GT and F1 seat (although not as easy and quick to change as claimed!) I could have went with a less expensive cockpit as well as spend WAY MORE money! This is a great mid-level cockpit and I've been extremely happy with it. It you're on the fence with it, just do it! You won't regret it!.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let me say by saying this is a two-man job to put it together and the box it arrives in is extremely heavy. With that being said this is an extremely rigid and sturdy cockpit once constructed. Once you have it assembled, there will have to be some adjustments made so that the person sitting is comfortable and ready to play ie peddle plate position, steering wheel height and tilt etc…. Once this is complete the experience is second to none add a sound system like I did to the setup and you really feel like your actually in the cockpit of the vehicle of your choice. I highly recommend this to any gamer that is or wants to get serious with simulation.

This is a great formula seat option for the money. Shipping was fast and the setup was a breeze. There is no flex with seat and I have it paired with the monitor stand and it works great.

I bought this for my G27 - huge upgrade compared to sitting at a desk! I can confirm this came with the strengthening kit for flex issues. Huge upgrade for my sim racing experience. The box is quite heavy, so be prepared. Assembly was pretty straight forward - go slow, follow instructions and the company also has a good YouTube video. Suggest you get a helper to align the seat bolts.

Very easy to setup and for being a big guy at 6’0 230 this thing is still user and adjustment friendly! If your just starting out in sim racing this rig is the way to go!

The included instructions aren't the best but once you finish the build the rig is extremely sturdy and withstands a direct drive wheel base just fine

Can the buttkicker mount provided with F-GT seat be used in the Formula style setup (or) is it usable only in the GT style config?

You can drill holes if you use the gt mode worked for me and very happy with product

How much padding in the seat? Comfortable for longer racing? Pictures make it look like pretty slim padding.

Comfort is very subjective and the amount of padding is not a published specification. Most customers report moderate to very good comfort for gaming sessions anywhere from two to 4 hours at a time.
