I ask the seller if this could be used for the Mac monitor and he telled me yes is ok for that. It doesnt Erik for the Nac monitor. I feel that I bought some thing I dont need and very expensive. I went from Chile to NY and back. Impossible to use it. Also, its very big.

Unfortunately, it didnt turn out to be all it was cracked up to be. 1. Note the images above: the diagram truthfully indicates that Macs can only drive one external monitor... but the photograph shows a Mac laptop hooked up to three monitor lines (TB, HDMI, VGA) which absolutely will not work. This device will not support multiple external monitors on the Mac. Its in the tiny manual, but not on the box. 2. Sadly, the various ports just incrementally stopped working over a period of six months. First the USB, then the SD card slot, next the TB monitor dock, then finally the power transfer. Now, after only six months, its in the dust bin. 3. On a happy note... it has a nice clean shiny silver case. Maybe it could be used as a stage prop....

It does not have enough power throughput to plug in a monitor and charge a 13 MacBook Pro.
