Designed for an immersive, room-scale virtual reality experience, the HTC Vive Pro Kit was developed by HTC and Valve to be a complete system that includes video, audio, and precise motion tracking.

Featuring a 110° field of view and dual front-facing cameras, the HTC Vive Pro allows for total immersion in a virtual reality environment. The 2880 x 1600 total resolution, 615 ppi, and a 90 Hz refresh rate deliver detailed graphics and motion for smooth gameplay and realistic movement. The integrated headphones provide 3D spatial audio for an immersive experience, while the integrated microphones provide active noise cancellation as well as Alert and Conversation modes.

The HTC Vive Pro's built-in convenience and safety features are seamlessly integrated for an uninterrupted experience. The Chaperone guidance system alerts you if you approach the boundaries of the play area, while a front-facing camera blends physical elements into the virtual world. Powered by SteamVR, the HTC Vive Pro provides you with access to VR games through Valve's Steam client.

This kit includes two base stations and two controllers for the full room-scale virtual reality experience. You'll be able to move around in a maximum play area of 19.7 x 19.7'.

Note: The Vive Pro kit does not come with the Vive wireless adapter.

Great Rare Find

There are many reasons to go with the Vive Pro over the Vive Pro 2, and my main reason was to be able to swap the lenses for a clear lens mod. Problem was finding the Vive Pro (new). I've looked everywhere. For over a month. Amazon. eBay. Best Buy, FYE, Tigerdirect, New Egg, Microcenter, Vive website-nothing. I am so so happy I decided to look at BH Photo & Video. I am very happy with the service, they were courteous, and personal-not corporate structured feeling at all, and the fact they had the Vive Pro in stock at the correct price, and not gouging greedy like other places, makes me wish I looked here before anywhere else. I will be from now on. Amazon is NOT synonymous with good deal btw, I think it's time to break from that monstrosity. From now on I will look at BH Photo & Video first for ALL electronic needs before I result to looking elsewhere. Also, the shipping was very fast, Free, and packaging superb. From start to finish I had experienced quality service and product. Definitely a customer for life.

Everything works great, looks great, not to heavy either. The controllers do take getting used to but work great. I am happy with my choice.

Got it during the Black Friday sale, and it is everything I hoped. The extra resolution makes a big difference, because resolution is something I never even think about while wearing it.

Heavy and earphones are terrible

earphones constantly fail... they claim its easy to replace but there's no replacement available. totally ruins the experience. the screen is great but the whole mount is very heavy and after a while uncomfortable. for $1100 i expected good quality. well not so much. they do come with a warranty... but be ready to send your headset away for at least 4 weeks to fix one speaker....

I've seen something like this being used for investigation of MRI/X-ray scans. What types of images, or files can this work with?
Asked by: Steven H.
This device accepts a video signal. Not a file type. You would have to have a teleradiology application that supported augmented or virtual reality, and that application would likely be highly specific on which brands/models of VR devices they supported.
