The Vantar Backlit Gaming Keyboard from Cougar is built with scissor switches and customizable RGB LED lighting. Thanks to scissor switches, the Vantar operates silently, which is helpful during late-night gaming sessions. Meanwhile, its LED lighting illuminates the keys, making them easier to pick out in dimly lit environments. Once it's connected to your system, the Vantar also supports multimedia control, additional software functions, and 19-key rollover.

COUGAR Vantar Reviews
Great affordable keyboard
Requirements for my latest use case were a reasonably priced, sturdy, quiet, USB keyboard. This keyboard matched those requirements perfectly. A YouTube review mentioned the back-lighting is not perfectly visible at certain angles. This is noticeable, but not a show stopper. I'm a touch typist and back-lighting is not a requirement for me. I've been using the keyboard for about one week. It feels sturdy, has a nice feel, and is quiet. I would definitely recommend the product.
Great keyboard
Have had it for 3 years and it was well worth my purchase, would recommend to people who want a nice slim backlight keyboard.
very poor quality, I regret buying cougar
buttons have lost their paint, miss a lot, and one key is pressed permanently, totally regret buying cougar!
Works well
It works well, the keys are precise and colours are nice. The only little problem is that the letters are barely visible despite the underlying light.
Trash
Didn't even last a year, the keys fall off and the cord and connection is failing. Don't waste your money.
Keys pop off
Not even a year old and they keys are popping off. Not very useful if i can't use a key on a keyboard.
Cheap. Ergonomic. Beautiful.
Call me a casual gamer, but I actually prefer scissor keys to the old-fashioned mechanical types. When I bought this, I didn't read the description, and didn't expect anything more than a glowing rainbow keyboard. But it just so happens that the Vantar comes with a few extra bells and whistles that are actually pretty fun and useful. First, the LEDs can be animated with a decent amount of control. Second, the WASD, and arrow keys can be swapped for easier left-handed reach. Also, the Windows meta key can be disabled (to prevent accidental home-screening). I still don't really understand anti-ghosting technology. And I don't really care. This keyboard hasn't hindered me from 360 no-scoping noobs in HALO Infinite. If it breaks, I'll buy another.
10/10
Great scissors based keyboard. Maybe one issue characters too dim if no light mode is selected. Overall just what I was looking for.
