Fantastic product. Easy fitting and perfect look. Now Profoto B1x is working fantastic on my parabolic box by Godox . A reunion between Europian and chinese product .
Works well but you need to buy your own screw

I'm between a 3 and a 4. It works as advertised, but the screw to it comes with that locks the bowens mount is straight garbage. It's made out of plastic so it does nothing to hold the modifier in place. I went out and bought a metal screw (5/16) and it is much better now. I use this with a 7 reflector and Glow magnum reflector.
it is for for bare bulb heads, not flat flash heads

My Profoto B1 units work only partly with this adapter as the adapter has a ring in front that is just too narrow to allow the profoto unit to slide properly into the adapter. The result is that the head will not reach all the way into the modifier.

For those of us that have a lot of Bowens gear, this is a welcome product. The locking mechanism is excellent. The only downside is that it's heavy. I wish it was made of high-quality plastic.

I recently upgraded my lighting set up to Profoto after years of using an old Calumet Travellite set up. I have many old modifiers that I have invested in for years and was so happy to find this flash head adapter so that I can still use my old modifiers on my new Profoto lights. The adapter feels sturdy and easily fits on to the flash heads without a problem, just like a standard Profoto ring. With this awesome adapter, I have more than doubled my usable light modifiers for my set up! Even my largest softboxes fit and are stable when mounted on the light base. I am thrilled!

While this adapter will slip over a Profoto B10 head, the front of that head would be too short to safely secure the adapter once locked. It is really meant for use with longer Profoto lampheads.

I'm assuming you want to use modifiers with Bowens mount on your Hornet 200-C. According to Hive's website the Hornet accepts Profoto mounts. So yes it should.

I have a Profoto B1, with a flat head flash ...
I have a Profoto B1, with a flat head flash surface. Will this adapter work, or will the head disappear into the mount?
Well, to answer my own question, now that I have bought the adapter, it really doesn't work very well, as the flat head disappears into the adapter, making the light only go straight ahead. It helps somewhat to use the glass dome for the B1 head, as the flash head then reaches slightly longer into the modifier.
