Add some more precise control over where light falls on your subject and scene by using a Snoot with Honeycomb Grid from Godox on your light. This version is available with a Bowens S-type mount and the snoot will narrow the beam into a soft-edged circle. Additionally, the included grid will further limit the beam's spread.

Will this work for continuous lighting such as the VL200/VL300? I mean not melt or cause the video head to overheat.
Should be just fine - I use it with plenty of continuous LED fixtures (Aputure, CAME-TV, Godox, etc.) with no issues. It's not plastic so unless your lights are HOT incandescent bulbs it should be totally fine!

Can someone help me by describing the falloff pattern? Does it produce a hard-edge circle? Or a focused beam with quick falloff? Gradual falloff?
It depends on the specific light you are using with th Godox Snoot with Honeycomb Grid as to the edge. If the light is close to the subject it will have a harder edge.

Unfortunately, we do not sell any snoots for Paul Buff lights.
Modifying this Bowens snoot is entirely experimental, & may damage the snoot & prevent a return/refund.

Is the grid removable?
You can remove the grid but removal destroys the grid. I just used a hemostat to start deforming the grid and after about two minutes it came right out.
