Perfect set of batteries and charger.
I had no idea when I bought this that this unit charges only one battery at a time which is inconvenient.� And, as far as I can tell, there is no light indicator showing when the battery is fully charged.� The light just stays red. I read other reviews after buying it to learn others have already identified these issues.� There apparently is a dual charger which is more expensive.� What I also am frustrated by is the price of this low-end charger.� At $100, it is almost as expensive as the light. Also, the light itself is rather lightweight and I have concerns that because these batteries are rather heavy, that they may pose a problem in keeping the light stable during use.� I have not tried it yet.
Charger is not professional grade: it stayed lit red with one of the batteries, even after overnight charging and is a cheap and cumbersome wall plug in type. I'd go with the dual charger next time which has clear percentage charged and power bar indicators
I purchased this kit because my two Dracast camera mounted lights are going to see a lot og action and I wanted to make certain I had plenty of power. The first time I used the charger, I kept checking back to see if the charge was complete. Like the batteires that campe with the light thse take a very long time to charge. Plan on at least 8 hours
These batteries can be used for different pieces of equipment that take the NP-F 6600mAh lithium-ion batteries and the charger it comes with is extremely compact and works great.
I use these for portable power for my Dracast Silkray 400 LED round light. These are great replacements for Sony NP-F Li-on batteries, higher capacity, and much more economical. They last about 1.5 to 2 hours at full output on the LED. The supplied charger only charges one at a time and it takes a long time when fully discharged.
One year outside limited warranty, one of my batteries won't hold a charge, the other is on its way out. Don't waste your money.
While the charger pieces do come loose when removing the battery, it's a great price considering how expensive the name-brand batteries are.
