Fast recycling coupled with flash durations as short as 1/1200 second make the VC-500WLN ideal for kinetic subjects in sports, dance, or wildlife applications. The monolight has multiple triggering options, such as an optical slave and a PC sync socket. The slaves' seven preflash modes have a learning mode that memorizes the number of preflashes, allowing you to use your on-camera flash as the master slave to trigger one or more VC-500WLN's. The flash head also has a built-in 16-channel wireless receiver that, with the separate purchase of a radio transmitter, will allow to trigger your flash at distances up to 328'.
