Platinum Tools’ Terminal Crimp Tool is a tool that crimps terminals and splices. Designed for insulated and non-insulated terminals and splices alike, the Terminal Crimp Tool can handle the severing of cable-gauges between 10 and 22 AWG, giving you a precision-ground and hardened cutting blade for this very purpose.
A drop-forged chrome-vanadium steel alloy construction prevents against rust, while comfort-grip dipped handles provide easy handling. The tool even offers two crimping cavities to better serve the conductors you’ll be crimping: One for insulated wire, and one for non-insulated. Also, note its thin, tapered nose—this will assist you when you’re working in cramped, confined spaces. Do not attempt to cut steel with this tool, for that would be unwise; however, copper and aluminum wire up to 10 AWG is just fine.
