The Mini DisplayPort Video Dock is plug-and-play compatible and operates using USB bus power, meaning that is requires no external power adapters, helping to make it more portable for on-the-go use.

question

I have a thunderbolt port on my iMac. I would like to get a good and reasonably priced USB adapter. What do you suggest?
Asked by: Anonymous
There aren't any direct Thunderbolt to USB adapters. There are however some combination adapters such as KAKTU20 that converts from Thunderbolt to both Ethernet and USB 3.0. That would be the easiest solution.

question

Hi there I was wondering if this item would let me use a single thunderbolt or usb port to connect multiple items, i.e. act as a thunderbolt/usb splitter?
Asked by: Emily L.
It can be used to expand the USB ports on the computer, but not the Thunderbolt ports.
