Needed a proper tripod for my c200, opted for this over the GH06 and it works just fine. I really like not needing to fiddle with the height of the legs at each stage, huge quality of life upgrade.

Great Tripod for the price point

I was more than pleasantly surprised by how well-built the tripod is. We are using it as part of our live stream equipment in our worship center, and it is as nice as the other tripod we have that we paid quite a bit more for. Everything about this tripod works well for our application. Look forward to getting the other one that is backordered presently so we can complete our camera expansion project to include 3 camera feeds.

When it comes down to it, you pay for what you get, and I must say this E-Image tripod is incredible. Like everything else, you have to do the research, and my research found this to be the WINNER with NO regrets.

I have a Vanguard and Benro tripod and unipod, but once I stepped into a beefier video camera, The E-Image Tripods caught my attention. WOW, this tripod is incredible. On top of that B&H customer, service is TOP notch. From now on B&H will be my source for all my Camera needs

So far happy with purchase

I have only had it out for a couple of test runs. I most like the single knob release on the legs! Fluid head is good for the price point. Slight but noticeable back track on pan if you immediately release handle upon stopping. holding alleviates this but could introduce human shake in some situations. All and all a good product for the price.

Great Tripod. Great Price.

Great Tripod For Its Price

As a filmmaker who often works alone, I found this tripod to be really useful. The fact that it can be fully raised and collapsed from only 3 points makes it much easier for solo shoots. It comes with everything you need out the box including a pretty good carrying bag. For its price it is really a great value.

What are the counter balance weights limits?
Asked by: Will
This tripod has a load capacity between 6.6 to 17 pounds. It also has 3 steps for counter balance. While we do not know the exact amounts for those steps, they will work with the load capacity of the tripod.

How does a tripod like this compare with the Davis & Sanford ProVista Tripod which is more economical?
Asked by: Allen
i have not personally used the D&S, but i own the E-Image. perusing the D&S ProVista offerings on B&H, the only comparable model is half the price, but here's where this E-Image version edges it out: adjustable length handle; quick, one-touch leg adjustment (a single lock/unlock per leg instead of controls for each leg stage); removable feet (rubber treads pop off to reveal spikes for outdoor work). the D&S ProElite have these features, but are more expensive than this E-Image model. i own multiple heads for quick transition to dolly/jib etc. i don't quickly see the ability to buy just a ball-mount head for the ProVista. i have used this for years and love it. based on the leg adjustment alone, i'd say it's worth the extra money over the ProVista if you plan using it more than a couple of times.

The GH05 Head use a the E-Image GP1 Quick Release Plate B&H # EIGP1. E-Image GH03 Fluid Head uses the GP1 as well. Thank goodness for some plate standardization.
