This adapter works great and there is no noticeable loss in sound. I wish the strength of the cable itself was a little better due to the weight of the XLR but there are ways to manage that.

I'm able to connect a stereo headset to cameras or mobile devices. At this, it functions well. I did notice the cable portion has a lot of play, being a neutrik, I partially disassembled the adapter. The cable is much thinner than the design of the XLR connected was meant to support. I would strap the XLR portion to device to prevent any strain on the soldered parts
