Apple Magic Trackpad 2 (Silver)
Key Features
  • Force Touch Support
  • Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity
  • Built-In Rechargeable Battery
  • Mac Compatible
Bring Force Touch to your Mac with the silver Apple Magic Trackpad 2. With four force sensors underneath the trackpad surface, you'll be able to click anywhere and have the Trackpad detect subtle pressure differences you apply for added functionality with Force Touch. The edge-to-edge glass surface area is almost 30% larger than the previous generation Magic Trackpad, so you'll have more space to use multi-touch gestures. The Magic Trackpad 2 is also rechargeable, thanks to a built-in battery which can run for up to a month on a single charge. This allows it to have a lower profile, which makes scrolling and swiping more comfortable.

Can I use this with a stylus for editing photos in Lightroom?
Asked by: Katherine
First, I have not done this myself as my tools work without a stylus. That being said, lets move on to what should work Second, to successfully draw with a stylus pen on a trackpad, keep the stylus in your dominate hand and lightly drag it on the trackpad until your cursor appears where you would like to begin to draw on the canvas. You do NOT need to press hard. Next, use your pointer finger on your other hand to hold down the trackpad button that will allow you to draw.

A track pad acts as a touch interface and can be used instead of a physical mouse device to move the cursor on the screen and select options in the graphical user interface or operating system via touch, drag and tap motions with a single or multiple fingers on the track pad itself.

Probably a silly question, but will this work with a PC?
Asked by: Robert
It does not work on windows machines without work arounds, but there are several methods to add drivers to windows so that it will work including adding drivers from Apples Bootcamp and third party paid software like one called "Magic Utilities". Google the issue and solutions will come up. I do wish Apple provided drivers for Windows.
