This kit does not use reflectors. If you would like a kit with reflectors we do have some.

Does anyone know if the sockets are ceramic, as opposed to plastic?
The inner portion of the socket is ceramic while the outer portion is plastic.

can i mount a reflector on that socket?
It has an umbrella mount and the kit comes with two umbrella reflectors. At this moment, we are assembling most of the kit. Everything is wonderful and high quality. This isn't ideal for a primary portrait rig but it's a wonderful supplement.
