Novoflex Nikon F Lens to Leica SL/T Camera Body Lens Adapter

Novoflex Nikon F Lens to Leica SL/T Camera Body Lens Adapter
Key Features
  • Nikon F Lens to Leica SL/T Camera
  • Built-In Aperture Control
  • Manual Adapter, No Function Transfer
  • Maintains Infinity Focus
This Lens Adapter from Novoflex enables the use of your Nikon F lenses on Leica T and SL mirrorless digital camera bodies. The adapter features a durable, machined construction and has a manual design that does not relay any lens-to-camera communication, thereby requiring the use of manual focus, stop-down metering, and either manual or aperture priority exposure mode. The adapter does not contain any optical elements in order to retain the lens' original quality and also maintains infinity focus. This adapter also features a built-in aperture control to permit working with lenses lacking a manual aperture ring.

why is the G lens, not D lens?
Asked by: xiaochun X.
I found the solution. Put tilt/shift D lens on Nikon body, choose aperture you want, I always use f11. While holding down DOF button, remove lens and put onto the adapter. Only issue you have fixed aperture on S1, not a problem for me with my tilt shift usage. Dont knowcif an issue with other D lenses as I don't have any to try.

The review by Norman concerns me. Will the adaptor be difficult to remove from my SL2 body? Investing in a high priced product, the more information one gathers, the better. Can the company guarantee that no damage should occur to the SL body?
Asked by: Manojchandra
None of the other 14 reviewers of this product mentioned any problem attaching the adapter and a few even noted that the fit was very good. These are subjective reviews, so it's best to look at them in the overall context.

Thanks, it work so well with Leica SL2, it is easy if set the aperture close all the way with blue ring. then put adapter to the camera body, at last attach the lens to adapter. Use the lens aperture ring to adjust the right exposure.

Will the Nikon F to Leica T adapter work for a Zeiss ZF (Nikon mount) lens on the Leica SL?
Asked by: Charles M.
In a word yes the Novoflex Nikon F adapter works with Zeiss ZF lens on the SL for example I use it with four Zeiss ZF manual lenses. In fact it works better than with Nikon auto G in that the aperture ring on the Zeiss lenses set the exact f-stop while on G lenses the aperture is controlled by a small dial on the Adapter which is not calibrated. In fact, I sold my Nikon DSLR and G lenses but kept several of my Zeiss ZF glass which perform as well or better on the Leica SL as on my now x-D800e.
