The E-Image GH03 Fluid Head with Flat Base supports cameras and accessories weighing up to 11 pounds. The GH03 head features an Easy Lock Baseplate system that combines the balance adjustment of a sliding baseplate with the ease of a quick release system. It provides a fixed counterbalance setting that helps the fluid head support loads up to 11 pounds and won't force you to fight the head when working with lightweight camera systems.
The variable tilt drag allows you to adjust the fluid head to suit your shooting style or the needs of the shot. The head features a built in 1/4"-20 accessory socket for available monitor support arms or other accessory items and independent pan and tilt locks. The head incorporates a bubble level, panhandle rosettes on the left and right side of the head (one panhandle is included), and a 1/4"-20 threaded accessory socket for use with optional accessories.

E-Image GH Series Video Head Reviews
Perfect for run-and-gun
If you combined the performance of the Manfrotto 502 head with the footprint of the 500... at a cheaper price tag, you'd have this. The GH03 is perfect if you're doing a run and gun shoot with a mono-pod.
Nice product for the price
Fluid movement, and easy to operate
Best in class
I have been using this ballhead for two years, and still impressed with level of smoothness and precision. Haven’t seen anything nearly as good in this price range. Perfect for small to medium sized setups.
Great product
Very stable solid product. Great quality
Good product!
Good product!
Decent with compatibility issues
Decent fluid motion for the price, though pans are a bit jerky to start. Significant tilt snap back on rigs < 11 lbs. Something frustrating that I just noticed is that this cannot be adapted to fit a 100mm half ball receiver without some diy hacks, even with a proper 100-75mm adapter ring. The issue is caused by this head having a fixed male 3/8” bolt extending for only about 1.25” from the half ball. This isn’t long enough to extend past the bottom of any 100mm bowl with adapter ring that I have (Kessler Hercules Head, ball relocator on their Pocket Jib nor their hi hat). Still workin on a solution for this, but it will have something to do with a combination of a lock nut, a coupling nut, and a set screw to effectively extend the head’s existing bolt.
Revisit Review
Bought this about a year ago. I use medium size rigs on it. built up c70 with Ninja V and follow focus and other not so heavy things. I'm guessing about 6lbs. This works like a champ! Its smooth and the drag controls are spot on. They're tuned to each other, meaning if you put the tilt on 2 and pan on 2, you can make a nice circle movement and not notice any difference in the two resistance. Not to mention completely repeatable, unlike those friction clutch systems. The counter balance system is great too. But if you use just a dslr or mirrorless by itself, it may be too light for the counter balance, even at the 1 setting. Some people mentions that there is no in between increments (there are only 4 settings), but I had yet to have a rig not balance on those 4 settings. The locks are great and nothing moves once locked. but I don't like the placement of the pan lock. Its too tucked in. You have to fumble around like a teenager trying to... never mind. I like the way the handle can telescope out. The longer handle will give you less shake, if using a very long lens or you had too much coffee. The ball lock is good too. Never had it slip on me yet. Its not the most comfortable shaped knob but since you don't have to twist it that hard lock or unlock, its not too bad. I wish the head was lighter, but its a video head, I guess you really can't skimp on weight. This is a couple of notches higher than your budget friction fluid heads for sure. Love it!
Great fluid head for a great price!
Although the GH03 has limited features, I find the non-adjustable pan drag to be good, as is the adjustable tilt drag. I also like it because the counter balance is somewhat heavier than the some other heads in this price category, allowing me to balance and hold tilt with my camera (Nikon D500) and most of my lenses. Appears to be well made with all or mostly metal parts. Nice long camera plate, too.
