The MD-HX features both an HDMI and a 3G-SDI input, and can cross convert either signal to the other. It features a built-in scaler and frame rate converter as well, allowing you to convert the input signal to your required output standard.

On occasion, the DECIMATOR needs to be powered by a battery. With the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to DECIMATOR 2.5mm DC Barrel Cable B&H # INPTDECM, you can use the Core SWX Hypercore Slim V-Mount Battery B&H # COHCS98S for instance by plugging into the batteries D-tap.

I am trying to connect my computer to the Atem 4k ...

I am trying to connect my computer to the Atem 4k production studio to show slides. Is this device capable to convert a computer signal from HDMI to video signal so Atem will understand/see it? Right now we are getting a computer signal via Ethernet connection and it is captured into main computer with Tripp Lite HDMI over Cat5 extender.

Yes. It takes whatever input it sees and allows you to decide the output resolution with frame rate i.e on a Mac, taking 60hz and outputting 59.94.
