This versatile Compact AC/DC Charger from Watson charges EN-EL23-type lithium-ion batteries via the included, dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. The Compact AC/DC Charger features a USB-A output for charging MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input - even while charging the camera or camcorder batteries. The battery adapter plates are easily interchangeable, so the charger can also be used with other batteries when paired with a dedicated battery plate, available separately.

Specific for this battery but other plate options available, charges from 110v outlet, car charger or up to 240volt European style outlet with included plug adapter, charges another device through USB port, with both overheat and overcharge protection.

Good charger. Does the job. Nice and small and fits in my camera bag. Charges the battery quickly. Good indicator light on the front to let you know when it's fully charged. I would recommend this product.

A lot of thought went into these chargers. I love the supplied 12V adapter - and the built in USB charge port is smart as well. My only beef is the same as has been noted by others - the battery can fall out occasionally at times. Perhaps a velcro strap needs to be added to the design?

Ive only used this charger twice so far and it worked just fine. The charging light indicator is nice, showing red when charging and green when done. Nikon P900 batteries fit with no issue. I agree with some of the other reviews that the batteries do easily fall out if your not careful. As they say though you get what you pay for and for half the price of a Nikon charger I cant complain.

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. Are you asking if it will work in South America? A device that works in Florida will need to have a power adapter to work in most foreign countries. These are widely available online and at most travel stores.

This is SO MUCH cheaper than buying the Nikon brand changer for the EN-EL23. Is there a reason for that? Is there some risk to using a non-Nikon EN-EL23 battery and charger?

For know it's the same, the tea no problem with the charger and works perfect for me: it's fast to charge and the battery life it's long enough
