question

Is there a particular USB bluetooth adapter that is compatible with device, which will work on Windows 7/8/10?
Asked by: Mitchell C.
We do not carry a Bluetooth transmitter on the level of this Audioengine receiver. Any Bluetooth audio transmitter should be compatible with your Windows computer. The generally will connect to the headphone jack. This will do the job: Aluratek ABT01F Bluetooth Universal Audio TransmitterB&H # ALABT01F MFR # ABT01F

My living room receiver does not have bluetooth. Do I need two of these to connect the receiver in the living room to the "B" speakers in the bedroom?
Asked by: Anonymous
This device is a Bluetooth receiver only . It cannot transmit an audio signal. It cannot be used with passive type speakers directly. When connected to your AV receiver it will enable Bluetooth audio streaming from a phone,mp3 player, or tablet to the AV receiver.

Will the Audioengine B1 sound better than the Harmon Kardon BTA-10 when hooked up to my home stereo system?
Asked by: Paul
I honestly would not know if it would because I have a 12 year old Yamaha RX V-863 Receiver. I have never used another Bluetooth prior with my system. Overall I'm very happy with the Audioengine B1. It pairs easily with no static or drops. Of course the sound quality is only as good as what the engineers used with for compression etc. Good Luck.

question

Can I use this device to listen to music stored on my iphone through a vintage sansui receiver and speakers?
Asked by: madhurika j.
I would think so. The B1 has optical digital output and I believe it has an analoge output. If so, then you should be able to use it. It has been a wonderful investment for me.
