Can you use LED bulbs with this?
Unfortunately, no, you cannot use LED bulbs in the Impact Octa Fluorescent Kit. The Impact Octa Fluorescent Kit is specifically designed for spiral CFL fluorescent lamps up to 85W maximum. LED bulbs generally have a heatsink at its base, and 4 LED bulbs this close together might not fit and could cause heat issues. CFL bulbs also have two advantages, they have a wider beam angle so they can fill the soft box completely and produce softer diffused light.
