question

Bought a Nikon DSLR Model 3300D camera as a gift. I would like to purchase some memory cards too. But I know absolutely 00 about them. I do know the camera uses SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards. It's all alphabet soup to me. Looking for card that will show natural outdoor photos of wild life. Won't even attempt to ask about 8-16-31Mg's. Anyone know of a good web site for explaining about the pro-cons of different memory cards? Thanks

Sandisk and Lexar are the best brands to go with honestly. SD, SDHC and SDXC are different capacities of cards. Sandisk is good because it comes with a year of recovery software. SD is up to 4GB, SDHC is up to 16GB, and SDXC is 32GB and above. If you are shooting video and photos I would definitely recommend going with something high speed.
