I want to use my Sennheiser mics on my zoom N1. Because of the threaded collar, it doesn't fit perfectly into my Zoom N1. Does this cable convert the Sennheiser connector to a regular 3.5mm plug?

This adapter is specifically for Point Source mics to connect into Sennheiser wireless bodypack transmitters.

Will this adapter allow me to connect a PS Embrace mic to a Sennheiser XSW transmitter?

No, that would not be possible. To be able to do that with a Point Source Embrace model, you would only need the one that is made for compatible with Sennheiser Evolution series transmitters like B&H # POEO8WLXSEBE for example.
