Camera fingers are too tight

Glove seems well made, but the two camera fingers are too tight.  If I can figure out how to make fingers less tight, they should be great. What are the magnetic mental pieces for?

very comfortable and warm

these gloves are exactly what I was looking for. They are very warm, water resistant and roomy enough. Only minor gripe is the location of the magnet on the index finger is right over the knuckle joint and if the gloves are too snug, that magnet digs into your knuckle when you bend the joint. otherwise, these are the perfect gloves. just make sure they are roomy enough

A good idea poorly executed

I needed a new pair of photography gloves and was happy to learn that Freehands was now making one with an inner liner that would cover my index finger and thumb when the tips were flopped back for shooting. In cold weather, that sounded like a feature I wanted to have. However when the pair I ordered arrived, I was disappointed. The new internal liner covering my fingertips when the external tips were removed prevented them from being easily pulled back over the fingertips. I actually had to remove the gloves to get the external fingertip covers back in place, which would be completely impractical in cold weather, not to mention clumsy when also handling photo gear. I returned them.

OK but could use improvement.

These gloves are well made with nice materials. They are good for cooler temps close to freezing but are not so warm in colder temps like 20s or less. The picture that shows a bare finger when you flip the flap back is not accurate. They have a liner that is not removable. It is also a little too long/sloppy so it makes it difficult to get the flap back over your finger without the liner getting bunched up. And they should have made the liner touch screen sensitive so you wouldn't have to remove the entire glove. I'm thinking of just cutting the finger tip liner off to solve both issues at the expense of keeping warm. One glove has a small card slot on the back side - good idea. But I wish they had made it a little bigger and put one on both gloves - then you could insert a hand warmer into each. As they are, probably worth $10-$15 but not worth the $30 price tag in my opinion.

Greta product keeps my hands warm as it was designed to do but you lose a lot of touch functionality with smartphones

Excellent gloves. Not for extreme weather though, but they really help.

Almost perfect...

I live in Chicago, and trying to take pictures/videos with gloves on is almost impossible, yet you need gloves to keep your fingers from freezing off. I came across these and thought this would be perfect! And it almost was. I do love that you can remove the pointer finger and thumb to easily adjust settings on your camera, but the bad part is that the liner inside isn't touchscreen friendly. So in order for me to use my phone or touching my screen for focus, it doesn't work =( What I'm having to do now is to cut my inner lining glove so I can still use my phone and touch features on the camera. If this only came with touch screen friendly inner liners, that would have been perfect! Maybe next version?

Can they be used for snow conditions? Waterproof? Warm enough?
Asked by: Michael R.
I would recommend this glove for late fall temperatures or above 0 degrees Celsius (32F). The glove is warm enough in these conditions but the fingertips gets cold when exposed for short periods. The glove can take a splash but not waterproof.I would recommend using the Freehands Powerstretch gloves underneath to cover the exposed fingertips and provide additional warmth or try the Freehands Softshell which is a newer version with the tips covered. The Ragg-wool version is bulkier and much warmer but the tips are exposed again, Powerstretch recommended here again.
